Pitt County

Churches, charities, and non-profit food banks in Pitt County North Carolina can help the less fortunate. Hundreds of
Greenville and nearby families receive some form of assistance every month. Almost all of the pantries have very limited hours and resources, so it is recommended to call in advance. There is also an application process in place at most of the Pitt County centers. The items distributed will change by the day and week. Pantries rely on donations, fund raisers, and partnerships with non-profits such as the Eastern North Carolina Food Bank. Examples of what may be served include rice, breads, pasta, meats, and frozen food items.
